Writing, Reading, and Study Skills

CARP's Writing, Reading, and Study Skills (WRSS) Unit strives to develop your academic and professional writing skills. All writers benefit from discussing and reflecting on ideas, arguments, structure, and style with an experienced writer to continually develop new techniques and strategies to improve their writing abilities. CARP’s WRSS tutors use inductive questioning to draw out student ideas and knowledge to help build writing skills. Additionally, CARP’s WRSS tutors can help you develop reading strategies, presentation strategies and practice, and study skills such as note-taking and time management.
